Daniel Casimir is new to me but his album has a couple of my favourite jazz artists on it in Moses Boyd and Nubya Garcia so I was hopeful it would be decent. It is more than decent it is great in my opinion.

Modern British jazz with pop, soul, R&B and 70s soundtrack influences delivered exquisitely. With Casimir playing bass, the deep notes are front and centre throughout which is right up my street too.
If you have even a passing interest in jazz I’d urge you to give this a whirl, I loved it from start to finish.
Tracks to try: Your Side, Safe (Part II), Get Even.
