HBO Max are set to release Zack Snyder's Justice League, a $30m recut of the original Justice League movie from 2017. Although Snyder directed the original film he left in post-production after the death of his daughter with Joss Whedon taking over. Whedon ordered extensive reshoots to help lighten the movie but fans wanted to see Snyder's original vision.

The Snyder Cut will be extended to 4 hours and released as 60 minute chunks in mid-2021 with the whole thing released in one arse-numbing 4-hour supercut shortly after. The film follows Batman and Wonder Woman as they recruit The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to form the Justice League to protect the world from Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
