I used to love Tomorrow's World, it inspired a sense of wonder by showcasing new technology and forward-thinking ideas to improve our lives. In 1989 they predicted what the house of the future would be like and they got an awful lot right which is a testament to how good the editorial policy on the show was.
They nailed things like voice control, wireless charging, flat screen TV, smart heating, digital privacy glass and even centralised audio streaming. It is a bit creepy looking at just how much they got right in the time when the recently released Gameboy was heralded as a technological marvel!
