You all know the band and the tracks so I won’t bore the tripe out of good people with a big review - see ‘Tracks To Try’ at the end of this post. What I will say is this is an original pressing of a fabulous record and sounds outstanding.

I was destined to get this album, was chasing a good copy on eBay, watched as it got to the last couple of seconds then was sniped by some other fan much to my annoyance. The next day, a friend gifted me some records and this beauty was nestled in the middle.

Also, in 1989 (5 years after the record's release) the only nightclub that would let in and serve the 16-year-old me, used to play this all the time in between stuff like ‘Pump Up The Jam’ by Technotronic and ‘Around The World’ by Lisa Stansfield. At the time, the only thing I found weird about it was that they were playing a live song in a club.

If you fancy a slice of fabulous 80s nostalgia, there is a copy on eBay right now for less than £20. If you miss out on that you are looking at around £70 for an original pressing.

Tracks To Try: ‘Psycho Killer’, ‘Slippery People’, ‘Burning Down The House’, ‘Girlfriend Is Better’, ‘Once In A Lifetime’, ‘’Take Me To The River’
