The former Maccabees frontman has released an intriguing album of synth-based indie pop that reminds me of someone else but I can’t quite put my finger on it (Talk Talk? Tears For Fears? Maybe, but much, much softer than either).

This is a slow burning album that has taken a few listens to enjoy but, in my opinion, is definitely worth sticking with.
