Released in 1991, this is their first original release after ‘When The World Knows Your Name’ (complete with ‘Real Gone Kid’/‘Fergus Sings The Blues’/‘Wages Day’ etc.) went stratospheric. It wasn’t very well received by the press at the time if I remember correctly. Do you know what, I couldn’t give a shit, I love this album.

The single ‘Your Swaying Arms’ is one of my all time favourite songs, ’Twist And Shout’ and ‘Cover From The Sky’ are live treats.

But it isn’t just the singles that hit the spot for me, there is plenty of gold in the album tracks. Listening to it now takes me right back…why have I waited so long to give it another spin?!

This is the 30th anniversary reissue on delightful radioactive yellow vinyl (you may have noticed!!!). Decent pressing to be honest.

Tracks To Try: ‘Your Swaying Arms’, ‘The Wildness’, ‘James Joyce Soles’.
