NOW PLAYING: 'THE END OF THE INNOCENCE' BY DON HENLEY...

Updated: Jun 15

Bought it on CD in 1989 on the strength of the lead single and have loved it ever since.

Found copy on eBay which didn’t look like it had been used as a coaster and took a chance. A quick dip in the record cleaner to be sure and then it is on.

I must compliment the previous owner for looking after it as it sounds great. Nice and quiet, just the odd faint crackle which adds to the experience.

Great album, worth a listen if it is new to you, the singles are the big hitters here (the title track, ‘Last Worthless Evening’, ‘New York Minute’ and ‘The Heart Of The Matter’). My favourite track is actually ‘Gimme What You Got’, great lyrics.
